The staff here was extremely helpful and quite friendly, and our stay in a queen room with three single beds was great.

The room was air conditioned, it included climate control, multi-channel television, and a fridge. Close to a train station, the location was EXCELLENT and convenient, to old centre.
Their staff were very unhelpful.

Perfect place to start my adventure with a "charming" neighborhood stroll. Loved leaving my luggage in a separate room. So considerate!
Who doesn't love a leisurely walk through the not-so-pleasant middle-of-the-night streets? Just thrilling!

The staff was super cool and always there for us. We had a rad time exploring Bucharest and checking out the awesome nightlife. The hotel's location was spot on, just a hop away from the best clubs and bars in the city. It was the perfect base for our party-filled adventure!
If there's one thing we wished for, it would be a chill hangout area at the hotel where we could meet other young party-goers like us. It would have been epic to have a common room or a rooftop terrace where we could all gather, play some music, and pregame before hitting the town.

The hotel is conveniently connected to the airport. The restaurant serves "special" Romanian food and there's a bar, because who doesn't love a drink? And best of all, free parking nearby.
It's almost too perfect, but if I had to nitpick, maybe they could've provided a valet for my imaginary Rolls Royce.

The hotel is conveniently located near Basarab train station, making it easy to access public transportation. It is also close to Gara de Nord-Train Station, allowing for convenient travel to other parts of the city. there are two hypermarkets nearby, providing easy access to shopping and amenities.
Some guests have mentioned that the rooms and general space of the hotel are a bit shabby.

I loved the proximity of Hotel Basarab to the market and the city center. It made exploring Bucharest incredibly convenient. The 24/7 check-in was also a great feature, ensuring a smooth arrival even at odd hours. The fresh water fountain in the entrance was a nice touch, providing a refreshing drink after a day of sightseeing.

Reasonably priced with comfortable mattresses and functioning en-suite bathroom. Convenient location, just a short walk to the train and subway stations. Enjoyed the delicious food served at the restaurant.
Basic and small rooms with a shortage of power sockets. Shower without a curtain, resulting in water flooding the room.

We had a great stay at Basarab. the hotel was within our budget and had all the basic amenities for a comfortable sleep. the staff was helpful and English-speaking, which was a relief as we didn't speak Romanian. They went out of their way to assist us in exploring the city. the location was convenient, close to the main train station, metro station, and bus stop to the airport. the room had air conditioning, a fridge, and there was a big supermarket nearby. we had a pleasant experience. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.
